PXE Linux Correction

A quick update of one of my earlier articles

Author: M Butcher
Date: 2005-09-21 10:23:51 -0500

A reader recently submitted this updated step for configuring PXE linux:

In my Linux PXE How-To document published at LinuxDevices, under the heading Setting Up PXELINUX, I describe the process of configuring the /var/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default file.

The astute reader informed me that there must be an entry with the label 'default'.

Here is an example.
	  # This is the default pxelinux config file.
LABEL default
KERNEL bzImage
APPEND initrd=rootfs.gz
IPAPPEND 1
This was not the case, if I recall correctly, when I wrote the documentation a few years ago, but... upgrades do happen!

Thank you, Sachin, for your update!
