Sinciput 1.x has stretched the limits of PHP. Sinciput 2, our next-generation project, is being developed in Java in order to provide a more robust feature set.
This next version will have a more advanced search engine, a more advanced storage mechanism, and will provide these great new features:
- Full text search.
- A better HTML editor.
- Importing from other sources, like BibTex (Google Scholar).
- Better source tracking.
- Bibliography management.
- Support for research teams.
- More security, and faster performance.
- Classes and lectures.
